VPL recently received news from a national family Foundation that Vermont Performance Lab was awarded a $10,000 challenge grant. The purpose of the award is to encourage individuals to join them in supporting artists and rural communities in Vermont by supporting VPL's Creation Fund.
A donation to VPL's Creation Fund will provide artists with the resources they need to conceive and develop work that might otherwise remain unmade. It also supports our work in our small rural Vermont communities. AND there are some great benefits to joining VPL's circle of supporters:
Invitations to receptions and talks + Recognition in all print and on-line publications
All of the above + Invitations to artist mixers + VPL water bottle
All of the above + Season DVD + VPL t-shirt
All of the above + Invitation to 2 artist dinners
All of the above + Invitation to 4 artist dinners
All of the above + A framed residency photograph by Jeff Woodward
You can make a tax deductible contribution to VPL's Creation Fund through our fiscal sponsor: The Rockingham Arts & Museum Project. Please write checks out to "RAMP" and simply write "VPL Creation Fund" in the memo line. Mail to Vermont Performance Lab, 561 Fitch Road, Guilford, VT 05301.
VPL has its non-profit status in the State of Vermont and filed for its federal 501(c)3 non-profit status with the IRS in September. We anticipate having our 501(c)3 status in early 2012 if all goes well.
